Night Time Holiday on Film - Esmée Liu
Night Time Holiday on film is an organically growing series of posts providing a platform to budding photographers with a love for film photography and Night Time Holiday products.
This time, I had the privilege of sending a parcel of our all time favourite Colour Block Arches to Amsterdam to Esmée Liu. She’s an artist with a beautiful eye for shape shown in her ink illustrations, sold on her own online shop. She’s also Fourteen, and already has a firm eye set on the creative industry. The shoot shows Esmées teenage vision and gives me nostalgic 90’s feels, showing how style really does circle back round.
Esmée also reminded me of the original meaning of ‘Night Time Holiday’ which is simple spontaneity and fun with friends in the moment.
“I use film daily, I always carry a camera in my pocket and take pictures when I want to capture the moment. The photos I shoot on a daily basis aren't very special or anything but just a fun memory for me and my friends to look back on.”
